I have been making this recipe for a long time now and I give 1 example on how to make Homemade Laundry Stain Remover under the post, “Fels Naptha ‘The Stain Queen’”
This is one of my favorites and I just made another large 1 gallon batch today.
My Gel - Notice the travel tooth brush I use for extremely tough stains.
Ingredients of Homemade Laundry Stain Remover:
8-10 tsp. Fels Naptha Gel (as pictured)
2-4 Tbls. Laundry Soap
2-3 tsp. Dish Soap (dawn)
2 Tbls. Oxy Clean
1-2 Cups Super Hot Water
1-2 tsp. Basic H (Shaklee) – (optional)
32 oz. Spray Bottle
Mix the fels naptha gel into the hot water and continue stirring until the fels naptha has completely dissolved. Add remainder of ingredients and slowly stir to dissolve oxy clean (may not dissolve completely). Put into a spray bottle and fill the remainder of the bottle slowly with cold water.
Shake before each use and spray onto the stains before washing. For tough stains you may need to rub the remover into the garment or let the garment soak for a little bit to enhance the results.
*To make a large batch, all I do is make 1 gallon, which is 4x this recipe. So in other words, take all the ingredients and multiply by 4. This picture is my 1 gallon container I just made today minus what I filled into my spray bottle.
**You may also add other ingredients to your stain remover to enhance its ability if you would like, but I have found this works wonderfully.
**If you are having a hard time spraying, the nozzle may be clogged… Shake before each use to prevent this. Also if the mix is to thick, use a larger spray bottle and more water, your current bottle may not be 32 oz.
